Hi there.
I don’t do any hydroponics but the two fertilisers I know of that you could have a look at is Dutch Pro and Verti-Gro@.
I started at a gardening advice page on Facebook last year and one lady, Maria Swan, seemed to be obsessed by hydroponics. Go and have a look at the older posts there for a bit more info.
Again with tomato types, I’m not necessarily the best source but I would recommend any variety that has been bred to “F1”. These will all grow to be exactly the same so you’ll be able to see if anything you do causes any issues in the growth process.
